Where my journey through life continues to unfold.

From college, where I was part of a generation discovering its voice as Black Americans—raising awareness, shaping identity, and standing with purpose—my path led me to serve in the Navy, then into the high-tech world in the ’70s, followed by years teaching math and science. Today, I embrace a new season in a retirement community in Austin, Texas—still seeking meaning, joy, and wisdom with every step.

As the poet Dorothy Colgan put it: “The joy is in the journeying, not in journey’s end.”
