Day 1 in Caranado

We kicked off our adventure with a delightful meal at a charming Chinese restaurant in David. We may have overindulged a bit, so we decided to pack up the leftovers. Karen had a wonderful idea to share our bounty with someone in need, and the attentive hotel staff ensured it found its way to the right person.

After savoring our meal, we captured the excitement of the horse parade and enjoyed a scenic drive to Coronado. Along the way, we stumbled upon a vibrant local artisan market, brimming with unique crafts and warm-hearted vendors. The atmosphere buzzed with life, as music filled the air and colorful stalls beckoned us to explore. Unable to resist, we picked up a few handmade treasures to commemorate our journey. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we found a cozy spot on the beach to relax, watching the waves shimmer under the golden sky, perfectly wrapping up our first day.
